COPYRIGHT NOTICE
Author Rights, Open Licensing, and Responsible Sharing
Authors who publish with Jurnal Ilmiah Islamic Resources (JIIR) agree to the following terms:
1. Copyright and First Publication
Authors retain copyright to their work and grant JIIR the right of first publication. The work is simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0) .
2. Sharing and Adaptation
The license permits others to copy and redistribute the work, and to remix, transform, and build upon it for any purpose, including commercial purposes, subject to its terms:
- Attribution: Give appropriate credit to the authors, acknowledge initial publication in JIIR, provide a link to the license, and indicate whether changes were made. Attribution must not imply endorsement by the authors or journal.
- ShareAlike: Adaptations must be distributed under the same license or a license permitted as compatible by CC BY-SA 4.0.
- No Additional Restrictions: Users must not impose legal terms or technological measures that restrict the rights granted by the license.
3. Additional Distribution Arrangements
Authors may enter into separate, additional arrangements for non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version, such as depositing it in an institutional repository or including it in a book, with acknowledgement of its initial publication in JIIR. Such arrangements do not revoke the permissions already granted under CC BY-SA 4.0.
4. Online Posting and Repository Deposit
Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their manuscripts online, including in institutional repositories or on personal websites, before and during submission. This may support scholarly exchange and increase the visibility of their work. Once published, authors should add the complete journal citation and a DOI or link to the published article.
Authors must obtain permission where required for material owned by others and identify any material excluded from the article's license. The license does not override privacy, publicity, or other rights that may apply.

Free Access to Scholarship, Wider Exchange of Knowledge
1. Open Access Commitment
Jurnal Ilmiah Islamic Resources (JIIR) provides immediate open access to its published scholarly content. Making research freely available supports the exchange of knowledge and enables readers from diverse backgrounds to participate in scholarly discussion.
The journal promotes accessible scholarship on Islamic knowledge, ethical formation, education, da'wah, and social practice. Published articles are available to readers without subscription, payment, or registration requirements.
2. Immediate and Free Availability
Articles become openly accessible upon publication, without an embargo period. Readers may:
- Read the full text online without charge.
- Download articles for research, teaching, and personal study.
- Share links to published articles.
- Reuse and distribute article content within the permissions granted by the applicable article license.
3. Copyright and Licensing
Copyright ownership and permissions for reuse are governed by the journal's Copyright Notice and the license displayed on each article. Readers must consult those terms before reproducing, adapting, translating, or redistributing published material.
Where reuse is permitted, users must provide appropriate attribution, identify the original publication, link to the applicable license, and indicate changes where required. Any additional license conditions must also be observed. Attribution must not imply endorsement by the authors or journal.
Images, tables, or other third-party materials may carry separate rights notices. The article license does not automatically authorize reuse of materials excluded from that license.
4. Sharing and Repository Access
Authors and readers are encouraged to increase the visibility of published research by sharing article links through institutional repositories, academic networks, educational platforms, and personal websites. Depositing or redistributing article files must comply with the applicable copyright and license terms. Include the complete citation and a DOI link where available.
5. Reader Access and Author Fees
Reading and downloading published articles are free of charge. Any submission or publication fees applicable to authors are disclosed separately in the journal's Author Fees section. Such fees do not restrict reader access or determine editorial acceptance.
6. Responsible Use
Users must preserve accurate attribution and avoid presenting altered material as the authors' original work. Open access does not remove obligations concerning research integrity, privacy, confidentiality, or the rights of third parties. Questions about access or permitted reuse may be directed to the journal's editorial office .
