Efektivitas Penerapan Media Visual (Gambar) Dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Pada Mata Pelajaran Tematik (IPA) Di Kelas III MI Yaa Bunayya Fathul Khair
Abstract
This thesis is entitled "The Effectiveness of the Application of Visual Media (Images) in Improving Learning Outcomes in Thematic Subjects (Science) in Class III MI Yaa Bunayya Fathul Khair". The main problems studied include how effective the application of visual media (images) in Thematic learning (Science) in grade III at MI Yaa Bunayya Fathul Khair and whether the application of visual media (images) can improve the learning outcomes of students in grade III MI Yaa Bunayya Fathul Khair.
To solve the above problems, research was conducted. This research is a Classroom Action Research conducted in 2023 consisting of 2 cycles, each cycle consists of 2 meetings. Each cycle consists of planning, execution, observation and
reflection activities. The research was conducted in class III MI Yaa Bunayya Fathul Khair with a total of 23 students. Data collection is carried out qualitatively obtained from observations during the learning process during the research, quantitative data obtained from learning outcomes tests in each cycle. Furthermore, it is analyzed quantitatively, namely explaining the results of actions during the learning process and quantitatively using descriptive statistics, namely average scores, frequency tables, and percentages.
The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes characterized by increased student activeness in learning in accordance with the results of observations during class actions. The end-of-cycle test result of 91.30% showed an increase in Thematic learning outcomes (Science). Learning outcomes in cycle I were 47.82%, in cycle II there was an increase to 91.30%. The conclusion is that the application of visual media (images) is effectively applied in improving the learning outcomes of grade III students of MI Yaa Bunayya Fathul Khair in Thematic subjects (Science).
