Pandangan Tokoh Nahdlatul Ulama dan Tokoh Persatuan Islam Kecamatan Bangil Terhadap Donor Air Susu Ibu dan Akibat Hukumnya

Abstract

Breast milk donation has been a practice since ancient times, commonly referred to as radha’ah. This issue often occurs within communities, but not all members are aware of the impacts or consequences of breast milk donation. Therefore, this research is important to provide knowledge to the community about the consequences of breast milk donation. In this study, the researcher uses the perspectives of leaders from Nahdlatul Ulama and Persatuan Islam in the Bangil sub-district to understand the opinions of these two organizations regarding the practice of breast milk donation and its legal implications. The method used to obtain data in this research is through interview techniques and documentation techniques, with the interview results analyzed to identify the differences and similarities between the leaders of the two organizations. The results of the interview indicate that the limit for breast milk donation that causes mahram (non-marriageable kinship) is five satisfying feedings, breast milk donation can be done directly or using a device, and the legal consequence of breast milk donation is the establishment of mahram due to breastfeeding.
