Strategi Pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Islam Terpadu Di Tengah Peluang dan Tantangan Globalisasi

Abstract


This research aims to; (1) reviewing educational strategies at the Sekolah Putri Darul Istiqamah (SPIDI) Islamic High School amidst globalization; and (2) to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of  the Sekolah Putri Darul Istiqamah (SPIDI) Islamic High School educational strategy in the midst of globalization. Based on the results of this research analysis, it was found that; (1) The educational strategy at Sekolah Putri Darul Istiqamah (SPIDI) Islamic High School in the midst of globalization is carried out through curriculum strategies and teacher human resources (HR). The curriculum implemented is a combination of the national curriculum (K13) and Islam through several stages of planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the curriculum. Meanwhile, the teacher HR strategy aspect is carried out in several stages of activities, namely; assessment of teacher human resource needs; recruitment of teacher human resources; personnel orientation; training and development; and performance supervision; and (2) The results of the SWOT analysis show that; aspects of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of  the Sekolah Putri Darul Istiqamah (SPIDI) Islamic High School educational strategy in the midst of globalization, it was found that in the curriculum aspect at  the Sekolah Putri Darul Istiqamah (SPIDI) Islamic High School has three strengths, two weaknesses, three opportunities (opportunities), and three threats (threaths). Meanwhile, in the SWOT analysis of teacher human resources, three strengths, seven weaknesses, two opportunities and one threat were identified. Thus, this aspect of teacher human resources still has many weaknesses and requires serious development in the future.
