Penerapan Fungsi-Fungsi Manajemen Pendidikan di Pendidikan Diniyah Formal Ulya Nahdlatul Ulum Soreang Kabupaten Maros

Abstract

This study elucidates the functions of educational management and evaluates the application of SWOT analysis within the management framework at the Ulya Nahdlatul Ulum Formal Diniyah Education, located in Soreang, Maros Regency. The study's objectives were twofold: firstly, to scrutinize the educational management functions implemented at the Ulya Nahdlatul Ulum Formal Diniyah Education; and secondly, to assess the impact of SWOT analysis on its educational management.

Employing a descriptive qualitative research methodology, this investigation embraced a logical phenomenological approach, integrating field observations, interviews, and documentary analysis as pivotal data collection methods. The analytical process was guided by the Miles and Huberman model, encompassing data collection, data reduction, data display, and verification phases. The study's participants included the institution's Head, educators, educational staff, and students.

The results demonstrate that the Ulya Nahdlatul Ulum Formal Diniyah Education effectively implements key educational management functionsplanning, organizing, actuating, and controllingthus ensuring the attainment of its core educational objectives, including the provision of efficient and effective educational services. Furthermore, the analysis identifies inherent strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within the institution, spanning curriculum design, pedagogical strategies, personnel, infrastructural resources, and community engagement. These insights provide a comprehensive evaluation framework, facilitating ongoing improvement and strategic planning initiatives.
