Abstract


This study discusses the values of Islamic education in the book of al-Manhaj al-Sawiy. The main problem in this thesis is: What is the concept of value in the book al-Manhaj as-Sawi by al-Habib Zain bin Ibrahim bin Sumaith? The purpose of this study is: To explain the values of Islamic education in the book al-Manhaj al-SawiyData collection is done by using (library research). This study uses a rationalistic approach. The data source in this study is the book of al-Manhaj al-Sawiy Syarhu Usuli Tariqah Al-Sadah Ali Ba'Alawiy by al-Habib Zain and at the same time as the object of this study. The problem discusses the collection of data that is used direct collection and indirect collection. The results of this study show that the values of knowledge, charity, wara’, khauf and sincerity are the foundation and basis of all the values in our life. Knowledge which is the foundation of all our activities, then it also the foundation of all the values that exist which then the knowledge must be practiced to get the spirit from the knowledge. It is not enough only with knowledge and charity, but it is accompanied by an attitude of wara' which means being careful in everything, so then all of it  create a sense of khauf or fear of Allah swt. And the closing of all values is when someone has reached a high sincerity which is the last part of sincerity itself.
