Pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional dan Locus of Control terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Makassar
Abstract
This research aims to find out the answer regarding whether there is an influence of emotional intelligence and locus of control on student learning outcomes at MTs Negeri 2 Makassar City. This research is a quantitative research with the research population being all students in class VIII MTs Negeri 2 Makassar City, totaling 352 students, while the sample is 78 students determined using the Cluster Random Sampling (Area Sampling) technique. Data collection methods through observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires. The research results show that the value of Fcalculate is greater than Ftable , with the value of F calculate (21.806) > F table (3.12). So from the analysis together variables intelligence emotional (X1) and variables locus of control (X2) has a significant effect on variables student learning outcomes at MTs Negeri 2 Makassar City. The correlation coefficient (R) is 0.633 (63.3%) and the coefficient of determination (R Square) has a value of 0.401 (40.1%). Thus it can be concluded that emotional intelligence and locus of control have a moderate influence on student learning outcomes at MTs Negeri 2 Makassar City.
